Download Open Source CAD, LibreCAD

All designers work with programs CAD (Computer Aided Design), but all these programs like AutoCad are expensive programs (although there is a version for students and another online). To try to find alternatives to unwrap the money we can help ourselves with alternatives free open source.

The only problem is that free software still has a long way to go in this field and is quite privatized, where the OS par excellence for its use is Windows. Some time ago AutoCAD also announced an official version for MAC but… what about the linux lovers?

For this OS we find several alternatives such as DraftSight or Briscad and today I bring you another very interesting one, LibreCAD (formerly CADuntu) was born as a client for Ubuntu but is now available for other OS as well.

Thanks to MakeUseOf I found out that the Beta 4 of LibreCAD is available and all kinds of 2D designs (plans, drafts, mechanical designs, etc.) can work on it. A fairly advanced client in its category that also allows you to work with layers or access complex selection systems.
