Yesterday I started to format a Acer Aspire 5920G and when installing Windows 7 Ultimate I noticed how everything worked perfectly, much better than with its previous OS (Vista).
When we format the computer we have to install a series of things and among them were the drivers From the graph, to download the drivers for the 512MB Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT I went to the official Nvidia website.

The installation was completely correct but upon rebooting I started to experience a kind of quite annoying problem, a kind of Short-lived «rallitas» they would appear on the screen in brief random periods of time (seconds or minutes), creating an overly uncomfortable feeling.
As Windows was correctly installed, it did not detect any problem, I resorted to installing outdated drivers but the same thing kept happening.
Apparently the GeForce 8600M GT faya on Windows 7 for power management problem.
Sort out this problem is very simple:
- We download Powermizer Switch.
- We open the program (if you get a warning click on YES)
- And then we click Powermizer off (it will ask you to restart, do it)
With this simple trick we will deactivate this feature and the graph will continue working perfectly. At the moment I have only experienced this problem with this graph, the other one that I have tried was a GeForce 8400M GS and it did not fail like the previous one.
If you need a more precise explanation, do not hesitate to comment. I hope it helps you help to someone.
