The problem of using an instant messaging app like WhatsApp is that it forces you to be connected at all times without the possibility of opening or closing a session to disconnect a bit from the world while we look at other things, as long as we are with the Internet connection activated our friends will know that the messages are reaching us.
That is why many people miss an option to disconnect WhatsApp or to remain invisible to other users, for this we can do it in several ways:
- Without being root – In Settings -> Applications -> Running -> WhatsApp Stop and then we go to All -> WhatsApp and Force stop. To reconnect the App it is only necessary to open the application again.
- If you are root you can freeze the application with utilities like Titanium Backup.
To stay hidden you can use this trick. I hope it been usefull.
