Which one do I buy? Live Gamer Portable or Game Capture HD 2

If we talk about captors good AverMedia is one of those brands that has known how to be at the forefront of technology to offer us the best on the market at all times. There are currently two reference models:

  • AverMedia Live Gamer Portable, its smallest and most versatile grabber.
  • AverMedia Game Capture HD 2, its redesign of the famous Game Capture HD with very interesting new features.

Although they have a very similar price, they do not serve the same for both things and there are certain differences that you should take into account when choosing one or the other, then… Which of the two do I buy?

Both are used to capture games but they are quite different, now we are going to highlight the virtues and defects of both.

  • It is very fast and comfortable.

  • It incorporates input for HDMI and components.
  • It allows you to upload the videos directly to YouTube.
  • Includes a controller.
  • You can record on a flash drive or a hard drive that can be inserted inside (SATA in NTFS format).
  • It can be controlled from the mobile in a simple way (although you will need an iPhone).

  • It does not allow you to do Live Streaming.
  • It is quite large and difficult to transport (to events, friends’ houses, etc.).
  • Can’t connect directly to PC.

Was it easy for you to understand all the information? If you have doubts about whether you should opt for one or the other, you just have to use the comments and I will gladly clarify them for you. Both they are good catchers but depending on the use you are going to give it, one or the other is recommended.
